I believe this pub was still called the "Bear and Ragged Staff" in 1841 and went on to become the "Crutches" or "Three Crutches." However, the Publican's Directory mentioned a G Odds as licensee as late as 1855, but he was also mentioned as licensee at the "Three Crutches" from between 1851 and at least 1858, so there is a little bit of overlapping of pub names here.
