I am informed that the pub was once called the "Cricketer's Arms" but do not know when the change occurred.

Advertised as being for sale £425,000 in April 2014. Very popular and busy village freehouse with high turnover and showing good profits. Well presented and in excellent decorative order throughout. A real gem! Main bar area (37 covers) with wood burner, blue room/private dining area (16 covers), long servery, lower dining area to rear, level cellarage, trade kitchen, smoking area, rear trade garden (40 covers), small front patio area. Two flats over.

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just added this pub to that list but your help is definitely needed regarding it's history.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.

Thanks for your co-operation.
