Information from
http://www.ghostsofwestmalling.com Private Residence (formery The Brewery Tap)
It is believed a poltergeist haunts this private property, or at
least did when it was the "Brewery Tap." The landlord at the time had
frequently heard noises which could not be explained coming from rooms
in the pub. Upon entering the room where he thought the noise came from,
he would see that items had been moved. As he never found a natural
explanation for this, so the legend of the "Brewery Tap" poltergeist was
born.
Another ghost haunts this location and was seen by several members of
staff. They described the ghost as a beautiful woman who would disappear
by walking through one of the walls when they entered the room. The
landlord believed the place where the ghost would disappear used to be
the location of a doorway prior to renovations.
The property would also experience strange electrical malfunctions,
such as lights turning on and off or batteries suddenly draining of
power. This is a common occurrence in properties with paranormal
activity.

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are
and have ever been open in Kent. I have just added this pub to that list but
your help is definitely needed regarding it's history.
As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will
be shown here.
Thanks for your co-operation.
