I believe the pub was somewhere along the Heath Lane and closed some time between 1881 and 1891.

According to A N J Burton it was owned by Thomas Smith and run by his friend Tabitha Reynolds until at her death 1871 by whom he had many children. Thomas Smith was also a brickmaker whose brickworks was on land where Dartford Golf Course is today. He employed 7 men and 2 boys. It was still open as a beerhouse in 1881 but there is no trace of it in 1891 census.
