Horse and Groom location 2009

Above photo, 2009, showing what I believe to be to the left of the bank the location of the former "Horse and Groom."

The pub was also known as the "Bus Drivers Retreat" but closed around about 1965 and was demolished to create the Nat West Bank car park.

Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.

All emails are answered.
