TO BE SOLD BY AUCTION.

By Mr. H. Dutt, on Friday, August 14th, 1846.

All the household furniture, linen, glass, pewter pots, and earthenware, three-motion beer engine, tap and pipes, bagatelle board, cues and balls, four-corner and nine pins, and balls, and other effects, on the premises, at the "Kent Arms Tavern, Medway-Street, Maidstone, late the property of Mr. Oliver Davis.

Catalogues may be had, one day previous to the sale, of the Auctioneer, West Malling.

Notice to the Public, John Duffield, Town Carter, Carrier, Etc., Begs to inform the public that he has removed from 15, St. Faith-street, to the "Kent Arms," Medway-Street, Maidstone, where all orders can be received. Goods carefully removed to any part of the country on the lowest terms.

Situated at the lower end of Medway Street, I understand it's main trade came from the river, however it was referred to the Compensation Authorities at the start of WW1 and was closed at the end of the year in 1914. It later became part of Lloyds Overseas Branch who set up their offices in the building.
