King's Arms 1923

Above photo, circa 1923, kindly sent by Rory Kehoe. Showing the pub in the livery of Style & Winch's Medway Brewery, Maidstone. In 1907, Maidstone Corporation extended its tram lines to Loose and the terminus was only a few metres from the pub, which must have been good for business. However, the lines were lifted in 1930 and trams were replaced by trolleybuses. The pub closed in 2005 and change of use to residential status was granted.

Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.

All emails are answered.
