EPITOME OF COUNTY NEWS.

On Saturday evening a house in course of erection by Mr. Norris, builder, near the "Morning Star" beerhouse, Maidstone, on the road leading to Penenden Heath, was nearly destroyed. The workmen had been digging out foundations for the purpose of erecting another house adjoining it; and soon after they had left work the foundations gave way, and the whole side of the house fell in. Fortunately no one was injured.
