I believe this is the same pub as is now known as the "George" but think it may have gone under the name "Olde George" when first built in 1934.

Olde George, Rochester.

NEW HOUSES IN THE MEDWAY TOWNS.

New houses have been built by Messrs. Style & Winch in the Rochester-Chatham area.

The "Old George," High Street, Strood, has been closed and a new house erected on City Way, Rochester. A great deal of building is going on the neighbourhood. The "Old George" is also near the new Rochester Aerodrome, where the Imperial Airways 39-seaters "Scylla" and "Syrynx" (the largest air liners in use) have been assembled and flown.
