The "Partridge" lifts pub award.

Pub manager Albert Mottershead is cleaning up after the council bosses gave him the first award of a new hygiene scheme.

The "Partridge," in Chipperfield Road, St. Paul's Cray, won the Clean Fiood Award in recognition of its high standards of food hygiene and training.

The award is part of a scheme run by Bromley Council's environmental services department.

Said Albert, who dishes up more than 400 meals a week, helped by wife Marion:- "We are the first pub in Bromley to be presented with this award, which speaks volumes for the service and quality of our team."
