From The Courier, 12 March, 1909.
THE "CRICKETER'S ARMS" AND THE "SPORTSMAN," WEST MALLING.
Mr. W. C. Cripps, who represented the brewers, Messrs. Leney, said his
clients had come to the conclusion that the Bench had made a wise
selection in regard to these two houses, and they would therefore not
oppose the licenses being referred to the Quarter Sessions. He would
therefore only ask for an ordinary provisional license on that occasion.
This was granted.
