Maidstone Journal and Kentish Advertiser, Tuesday 26 October 1852.

John Farrell, 19, (imp.), stealing a cotton pocket handkerchief, value 6d., the property of Albion Knight, from his person. The robbery was effected by the prosecutor and prisoner with drinking in the "Star" public house at Tunbridge. The prisoner was suspected, and on being searched by the constable the handkerchief was found on him.

Guilty. 6 weeks' hard labour.
