The Thanet Advertiser of 1892 gave this pub with the address as in Wrotham. I have also seen this addressed as in Borough Green and Platt. The Census of 1901 also addressed this as Plaxtol, but it is definitely at Clayton Cross as the above map of 1867 shows. At it's close it was run down by Courage.
