HADLOW: VIOLENT AND DISORDERLY.

Richard alias Reuben Warnett, labourer, of Stallions Green, Hadlow, was summoned for being, on the 21st June, violent and disorderly, at the "THREE SQUIRRELS" beerhouse, in the occupation of JOHN TUCKER, and refusing to quit when requested to do so.

Defendant pleaded guilty.

The Bench fined the defendant 1s and 13s costs, or seven days' hard labour in default of payment in a week.

HADLOW LICENSEE'S DEATH.

The death occurred last week in his 79th year of MR. STEPHEN RICHARDSON, licensee of the "THREE SQUIRRELS INN," Pitts Wood, for 33 years. He was previously employed on the Southern Railway at Tonbridge Station. He was a native of Hadlow and leaves a wife and two daughters. The funeral took place at Hadlow on Thursday.

Tonbridge Rural Council has refused planning permission for a pair of houses next to "Three Squirrels," Pitts Wood, Hadlow.
