Only reference I have to this public house at present is from the Pigot's Directory of 1828, listed under Inns.

Unless this is a misprint meaning the "Bull." Further research tells me William Brisenden moved from the "Ball" to the "Providence Hotel" in Dover, so would say this is the correct name for the pub.
