It was built in 1961 but was demolished about 2009 and houses were built on the site.

The pub sign was retrieved from a skip by a local when it was demolished. He keeps it in his garden. The sign has apparently nothing to do with cricket. It was a Fremlins pub which was founded in Maidstone and the company was sold to Whitbreads in 1967. At the bottom of the sign it has the dates 1861 to 1961. It was the centenary of Fremlins foundation.

Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.
