From an email received 5 March 2016.
Elizabeth Lapraik was landlady of the "Crown Inn," Blackheath SW3 during the
1880s.
Her first husband died in 1883 and Elizabeth remarried, so was
Elizabeth Mosley during her occupancy of the "Crown Inn."
On the failure of her second marriage she left the "Crown" between
1898 and 1900, I think, and went back to her birth town of Leicester.
She reverted to using her first married name. She is buried here in
Halifax.
All around the time of Jack the Ripper and the early Sherlock Holmes!
