Now part of Greater London, this area was indeed Kent before 1965. Hence, I will be adding information regarding this pub as and when I find or it is sent to me, but at present I'll be concentrating on the areas that are within the Kent boundary today.

The pub changed name to the "Deptford Arms," date as yet unknown.

 

From the Borough of Greenwich Free Press, 8 September, 1860.

On Thursday week last, a life size statue of the "Duke of Cambridge" was placed on the top of the new public-house, lately erected at the corner of Reginald Road, High street, Deptford, and for which It is intended to be a sign. The statue is by the Messrs. Smith, of the Now Cross Road.
