Minster on Sea (Sheppey)

It was the "George" alehouse in 1754 when it sold for £75, The painter Hogarth walked to Minster from Queenborough in 1732 whilst on holiday, and took refreshment at the inn.

The name changed to the "Prince of Waterloo" some time after 1754.

Further conflicting information gathered from Hogarth's reference, suggests that the pub became the "King's Arms."

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.

All emails are answered.
