The pub stood in Mill Lane which is now called Brookmill Road and was a former Courage tied house.

The pub closed, date unknown and has since been demolished.

Fond of the Fleece.

Ann Gilder, of Mill Lane, Deptford, was brought before Mr. Traill, and charged with robbing Mr. Long, of the "Golden Fleece," Mill Lane. The prisoner was remanded.
