According to the Lost Pubs Project the pub closed in the 1910s and has since been demolished.

The Compensation awards under the 1910 Licensing Act awarded the following total awards to be divided amongst the persons interested in the houses, which have been referred for extinction on payment:

"Lion and Lamb," The Green, Deptford, £1,296.

A show of dogs will take place at Mr. J. Harper's "Lion and Lamb," Deptford Green, on June 9. Chair taken by an old friend from Greenwich, who will be ready to make a match against Young Screw or Rough Screw of Somers Town; faced by Mr. S. Harper, who will show a splendid stud. A large number of Woolwich, Geenwich and Deptford fanciers have promised to attend.
