At present the only reference to this pub has been from Pigot's directory, which gave the address of Jewry Street and listed it as Taverns and Public Houses.

I have a feeling that W Friar and William Prior are one and the same and that Mary Frier was his wife; however, I don't know the correct spelling of their Surname yet.

DIED.

Last night, Mr. Wm. Gill, landlord of the "Orange Tree" public-house, in this city.
