It is suggested that the pub was previously called the "Prince of Wales," and can be traced back to 1793.

I am informed that the premised closed in 1983. As shown in the above photos it operated as a bank.

Drunk on Licensed Premises.

Charles Smith, 20, of 26, Speedwell Street, Deptford, and Henry Bird, 22, of 47, Church Street, Deptford, charged with being drunk at the "Prince Regent" public house, High Street, Deptford, were each fined 5s. or 5 days.
