325 (2) Kirkdale Sydenham
Sydenham was located in Kent until 1889 when the County of London was formed and in 1965 it became part of the current London Borough. It is now a suburban district of South London in the London Boroughs of Lewisham, Bromley and Southwark. I will be adding information regarding this pub as and when I find or it is sent to me, but at present I'll be concentrating on the areas that are within the Kent boundary today. Your help is appreciated, and every email is answered.
In the 1930s this premises was supplied by Beasley's Ales, and was said to be the only fully licensed beasley house in the district. It was also the headquarters of the Fambridge Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club of which G. Beasley Esq. was their Vice President.
