Maidstone Journal and Kentish Advertiser, Monday 8 January 1872.

The "Rising Sun" beer house, Elmers End, Beckenham, was transferred from Mr. J. Eccleston to Mr. Austin.

The Bench said there had been two convictions against the last named house, and cautioned the incoming tenant in reference to it, who said he was not aware of there had been any convictions.

The applications were granted.
