I have only found the one reference to this establishment at present and that was in the Licensing Records of 1872 where it was stated the premises held a Beer License and was owned by Lewis Levy of Rochester.

I also have reference to a "Star" at Gillingham, and another "Star" at Rochester. I am beginning to think that this house is actually the "Star" at Rochester or perhaps connected to it as the licensees don't quite tally.
