143 Crayford Road Crayford
The original building can be traced as far back as 1882, although I have reference to a "Swan" existing in 1832 and located on the Dover Road, but the road has changed name since the Crayford Road. The original pub was demolished in 1973 to make way for the new road. It is said that the old one closed one evening and the new one opened the following day, so obviously built on a slightly different footprint. The pub was eventually closed and the new building was demolished around 1997 being less than 25 years old.
