78 Valley Drive Gravesend https://whatpub.com/admiral-beatty
I have found information that this was the first pub in Valley Drive that was prefabricated and it was opened in July 1946, and had the license from the recently closed "Albion Tavern" in Albion Road transferred here. The pub was rebuilt in 1960 and gained a new license on 13th April that same year as shown in the second picture above. I am also informed that it was closed in 1989 but reopened 14th November, 1990 but this too closed in 1998. It was named after Admiral David Beatty (1871-1936) who commanded the
British Fleet at the Battle of Jutland. Further research shows in the picture below, that this building too has been demolished in the year 1999.
Thanks for your co-operation. Every email is answered and all information referenced to the supplier. This page will be updated as soon as further information is found.
