The Will of William Seaward who died in 1869, states that he owned the freehold of the pub and also adjoining stable when it was sold in auction that year.

Addresses as 4 Green Lane prior to 1881. The pub is closed in 2005 and was a Mediterranean Restaurant called "The Hill" by 2016.

 

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just added this pub to that list but your help is definitely needed regarding it's history.
