Conviction of beer housekeepers.

James Carey, landlord of the "Bright Star" beer house, Old Brompton, was fined 10s. 2d., and 10s. costs, or 21 days' imprisonment, for having his house open for the sale of beer on Sunday, 5th June. If the penalty was not paid, a distress warrant was to be issued.
