This is another micro-pub, opened around October 2014, and stands next to the Courtyard building.

This had a bit of an overhaul during the covid lockdown when it was temporarily closed and is due to open again on the 3trd July 2021.

John Ault says the following:- This old photo depicts my maternal great grandfather Charles Henry Perry & his family, taken at their large house named 'Hatfield' in Kent Road Gravesend, circa 1897.

He was originally a corn dealer who came from the West Country & started up a mineral water company in 1879 at 13 Terrace Road, before moving to 80 Peppercroft Street in 1880 & finally Manor Road in 1886.

His trade mark of a tower with lion rampant still exists on the front of his old premises, which now houses 'The Compass' ale house.

Eventually I found some old bottles supplied by his company. My great grandmother outlived all her children.
