At the time of writing this, (1 Jan 2015) the pub hadn't been opened yet, but was spoken about in 2014 and was going to be built on the Haine Road between Margate and Broadstairs, and due to open early 2015.

I am informed that the pub is called the "Hooden Horse" and was built by Green King as one of their Hungry Horse Chain of pubs that mainly cater for the traveller needing quick food.

The name was suggested by the Hoodeners and Green King forgot to invite them to the opening ceremony, but did apologise afterwards.
