I am informed by Joan Hardy that the pub we see there today was opened on the 11th November 1960 and her parents were the first licensees of the new building.

The original building was a timber build one and that the new build was erected over the original foundations after being demolished.

 

Operating as a Harvester pub in 2014.

BROMLEY POLICE COURT.

Robert Wilson, of the "Cricketers," Orpington, was fined £5 and costs for permitting drunkenness on his licensed premises.

Mrs. Tullett, of the "Horse and Groom," Sidcup, was fined 20s and costs for a like offence.

In neither case was the license endorsed.
