The license was refused by the magistrates in September 1849, although the premises must have regained its license by 1855.

Starting of being called the "Little Wonder" in 1851, the pub continued with that name till 1998 when for three years it was referred to as "Gambinos" but reverted to the "Little Wonder" again in 2001.

Come 2018 it looks like it's being converted into flats.
