The pub opened in 1860. The location of 12 Stratford Place was renamed and became 24 Mill Road on 9 February 1892. In 1908 it was still operating with only a beer license.

At present I don't know when it finally closed but believe after 1960, so hopefully there are some photos available. Local knowledge required please.
