Gravesend Reporter, North Kent and South Essex Advertiser, Saturday 6 December 1862.

Wednesday, December 3rd.

Charles Singleton, Waterman, was brought up on a charge of being drunk at the "Pilot" public house, between 3 and 4 0'clock on the previous morning.

Prisoner admitted the charges, and was ordered to pay 5s. including costs.
