I am not yet sure whether the "Roebuck" and "Ye Old Roebuck" are connected as to the same location or whether the license was transferred from one to the other. But they are certainly different buildings according to the above pictures.

"ROEBUCK INN," LEWISHAM, KENT.

William Lance respectfully informs his Friends and the Public, that having fitted up the above Inn with every necessary Accommodation, he takes leave to solicit their patronage and support, trusting, by the moderation of his terms and a strict attention to the comforts of his visitors, to meet with an encouragement which is at all times his anxious wish to deserve. Dinners dressed for large or small Parties. Wines, Beds, and convenient Stabling.
