I believe the building has been demolished, but as yet do not know when it closed or was knocked down, or indeed what replaced it today. Local knowledge required please.

I am informed that today by Chris Fairs (2019) that both Holmesdale and Hanover Street no longer exist but looking at A to Z Old to New Streets of London, they are now Loampit Vale and Elvira Street, respectively. Looking on Google Maps, the area would appear to have changed dramatically, with the site of the "Royal Oak" now being opposite a Sainsbury's Local.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.
