Originally called the "Flower Pot" and was just a beer retailer whilst under that name, and also this. In 1919 it changed name adding "Shades" to its title and acquired a full license.

 

I have just started to map out the pubs that exist or existed in Gravesend, but need local knowledge and photographs, old and current if you have any.
