In 1853 it was known as the "Brickmaker's Arms," and stayed with that name till 1910. Next known change was 1914 when it became the "Station Hotel." Latest it was operating at "Bar 24" I believe it changed name around 2002.

I have reference to this pub and a note that says it may also have been the "Bell and Green Dragon." Also, I have a note that says in 1727 it had connections with the Beckett's and Wood's Brewery.

Bridge Bar. This was the "Brickmakers Arms." Open 1853 to 1910, then changed its name to the Station Hotel and later changed again to Bar 24.

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just started to map out the pubs that exist or existed in Gravesend, but need local knowledge and photographs, old and current if you have any.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.

Thanks for your co-operation. Every email is answered and all information referenced to the supplier.

This page will be updated as soon as further information is found.
