Not exactly a public house but more of a licensed tea room according to the signage.

Further information from Steve Glover (Oct 2015) tells me the premises is now called the "Lemon Tree Restaurant and Tea Rooms."

However, it has been suggested by Chris Banks who is a relation to George B Rose (born 1843) who married a Fanny Jane Burden and who was a publican of this premises. Also suggested that it was named after him.
