Originally I identified this as being in the village of Westcliffe, however, further information pointed me to Westgate-on-Sea.

LICENSING TRANSFER SESSIONS.

The "Westcliff Hotel," Westcliff, applied for extensions for dances until 11.45 p.m. on the following Saturdays:—June 17th, July 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th, and September 2nd.

The Bench granted the applications for June and July, the applicants to apply again at a later date for the August and September extensions.
