ENOUGH LICENSES AT EAST PECKHAM.

Henry David Fuller applied for a wine license for the "Addlestead House," East Peckham.

Mr. Harries again appeared for the licensee and conducted his case on similar lines to that of the "Walnut Tree," Yalding. He was convinced that there was a demand for wine.

Henry David Fuller said that he had been licensee of the "Addlestead House" for eleven years. During the last five years there had been a growth in the demand for wine. He agreed with the Clerk (Mr. H. J. Bracker) that there were twelve licensed houses in East Peckham. seven of them fully licensed, where wine could be obtained, but pointed out that the nearest one to his premises was three-quarters of a mile away.

The Bench refused the application, the Chairman remarking that they thought there were quite enough licensed houses already in East Peckham.
