The census of 1841 and 1851 referred to this as Beach House.

DEATHS THOMSETT.

Mary, dearly loved wife of Albert Basil, and mother of John and Stuart, of the "Beech Inn," Mereworth, passed away 31st January, after a long illness, bravely borne, age 35 years.

Fire badly damaged the "Beech Tree Inn," Mereworth, Kent.

 

The pub changed name, at present, date unknown, to the "Moody Mare."
