This pub was named after Admiral Lord Charles Beresford who commanded Medway Dockyard Reserve in 1893. Built on the site of the former "Shepherd and Shepherdess" which burnt down in 1885.

This was closed at the end of 1916 having been deemed no required by the West Kent Compensation Authority.

 

Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.
