The Medway Archives and Local Studies Centre has referenced a set of documents, that I haven't seen yet, and is part of the Watts Charity MSS, 1579-1972.

Reference is made as follows:-

1842-1921

E16. No. 115, The "Bull," formerly the "Horn" (1 bundle)

The pub was operating under a Full License by 1872 and was owned by James Hulkes of Frindsbury.

Up to and including 1874 the address was numbered 94.

Whitstable Times and Herne Bay Herold, Saturday 11th December, 1875.

Liquidations in Kent.

James Piper, 94, High Street, Chatham, victualler.

Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.

All emails are answered.

I have found reference to a "Bull's Head" in 1793 but little other information regarding this establishment to date.
