Mason's Arms

Above photo showing the pub on the extreme right, some time between 1930-50. Kindly sent by Tony Smith.

The Licensing Records 1872 stated the premises held a Beer License and was owned by Mary Elizabeth Lock Beveridge of Ransgate.

The 1891 census gave the address of 42 Front Row, Ordnance Place for this pub.

I am informed by Tony Smith that the pub was demolished in the 1960s when extensive redevelopment was carried out in the area.

Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.

All emails are answered.
