Bredgar Trap Accident.

Mrs. Amy Sage, landlady of the "Plough and Harrow," Bredgar, met with an accident early on Friday evening in last week, as she was driving a pony and trap towards Sittingbourne. Just as she reached Tunstall parish, about halfway between Bredgar and Tunstall, a military transport wagon, which was being driven towards Bredcar, was met. The box of the nearside wheel of the trap caught one of the wheels of the wagon, with the results that the trap was overturned, both shafts were broken, and Mrs. Sage was thrown out, fortunately escaping from injury. The damage trap was towed home by the transport wagon, and Mrs. Sage was able to walk home.
