Kent's weird and wonderful food challenges.

Roger Heathcote and David Waddington

Roger Heathcote and David Waddington with their creation at the Rising Sun, Beltinge. Picture: Chris Davey.

The Rising Sun in Beltinge has organised a fete for Saturday, August 18, which will feature stalls, bouncy castles and a barbecue, alongside the man vs food competition.

The gut-busting challenge will be available for one day only, to raise money in honour of pub regular Sheena Andrews, who died in May after a long battle with cancer.

If you think you can devour around 6,000 calories of burger, onion rings, chips and a milkshake, why not give it a go?

All money raised will go towards building a sensory room for disabled children at St Paulinus Primary School in Dartford.
