The Brook Chatham
I am informed that the pub closed about 1972 and was demolished shortly afterwards to make way for the Chatham town centre road scheme which created the ring road and Pentagon centre. I am informed by Graham Robertson that to the right of the pub was a yard where the local bakers, Bournes, garaged their vehicles. On the other side of the alley to the left of the pub was a tinsmiths.
